We arrange every component for you with our weddings being the absolute simplest and least time intensive way to organise your wedding. We’re also very experienced so you don’t need to worry about things potentially going wrong in the lead up or on the day allowing you to truly enjoy the entire process.

PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE

To secure your booking, all we need is a $500 + GST non refundable deposit. We also offer payment plans at no extra cost. Once we receive your deposit we will be in touch to organise the best arrangements with you and just need you to have paid in full a couple of weeks out from the day. If you prefer, you can still pay upfront to save the extra mucking around with a payment plan but it makes no difference from our end so please do whatever is best for you.

WEEKDAY WEDDINGS

We typically only operate on weekends however we can run a wedding for you during the week. We only have our weekend dates available on our calendar but you're welcome to get in touch regarding availability for a week day. We do not charge any additional fees for a week day wedding.

A VENUE LIKE NO OTHER

We have exclusive use of the spectacular Leuralla Amphitheatre for weddings. If you want to get married at this iconic location then you need to go with one of our packages. This is private land which is exclusively hired by you for your ceremony and the best location to get married at in the Blue Mountains with stunning views of the Jamison Valley from right in the heart of Leura

VIEW AVAILABLE DATES & TIMES

IMPORTANT NOTE: As this location is private land, you are only able to access this location on the day of your wedding and a scheduled rehearsal typically a day or two before. However we will occasionally hold open days when you can visit the location and also have a detailed video explaining the location as if you were there.

OUR STORY

Hello there! We’re Kyle and Emily, a local couple who are privileged to call the Blue Mountains home. Our shared love for the outdoors, food and wine inspired us to launch Blue Mountains Picnics in August 2020. Our aim was to share our little corner of paradise by creating memorable experiences far away from how people typically experience the Mountains at the crowded tourist spots.

In April 2021, responding to a special request, we ventured into the realm of elopements, helping our first couple, Sheryl & Nathan, celebrate their love in a small, intimate ceremony. We got a lot of fulfillment out of this experience which marked a pivotal turning point for us. Inspired, we expanded our vision and began offering offering all-inclusive elopement packages, which quickly became incredibly popular.

Our successful journey, led us to secure exclusive use of the renowned Leuralla Amphitheatre for weddings. This milestone enabled us to branch out into full scale weddings, culminating in the birth of Blue Mountains Weddings, which we now proudly operate alongside Blue Mountains Picnics

HOW IT WORKS

You can easily book your wedding via our website including seeing all of our available dates and times which are updated live. We require a $550 non refundable deposit including GST to secure your date and get the ball rolling. Our wedding packages are the simplest way to organise a wedding with minimal time needed on your end. We help you through the entire process which starts with selecting from one of our local celebrants. They then get in touch with you and organise the ceremony and legal side with you directly.

You must meet with your celebrant at least 1 month out from the day to fill out the Notice of Intended Marriage paperwork. Your celebrant will also get to know you both and discuss your vows and other details of the ceremony.

We handle everything on the day so you just need to get yourself there and organise your outfits and rings. Every wedding includes a bouquet and button hole, decorations and backdrop and professional photography

We set everything up and leave prior to the ceremony starting with only our celebrant and photographer staying during the wedding. Once the ceremony is completed and once you’re done with taking any photos they will all leave so you can enjoy the remainder of the time in private with your guests.

There are also no toilets at the location but there are public toilets located literally just down the road. If you did want an onsite toilet we can arrange a portaloo at your expense. The duration of the entire booking is 2 hours from the start of the ceremony with the ceremony normally taking around 20 minutes.

As we do back to back bookings at multiple locations we do need to be firm with the start/finish times if this is the case but are happy to be a bit more flexible if we’re able. However we do find 2 hours is the perfect amount of time. We do have options for on site receptions which will give you a significantly longer amount of time at the venue.

We can also give you great suggestions for restaurants, accommodation, bush walks and more which we’ve actually experienced for ourselves. Most people go for dinner after the ceremony either up here or back in their own local area or do a proper reception either with us or somewhere else. We provide your photos and videos within 7 days of the ceremony via a Google Drive link but normally sooner than this with a sneak peek being sent through on the day. The final step is us posting your marriage certificates and getting some feedback.

We then keep in regular communication with you in the lead up to your special day. We help you through the entire process and make it a stress-free experience. We’re also available to answer any queries you may have and assist however needed.

It’s as simple as that! Just figure out your outfits and get yourself to our location and we’ll look after everything else. We would love to help you with your special day.
